The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation supports the systemic transformation of schools in four states in India: Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. While the methods of change are different and tailored to unique challenges in each state, the goal for all four states is the same – together, we seek to improve children’s learning outcomes at scale.
In July 2018, key stakeholders across all four states and private partners came together to share progress, lessons learned, identify best practices, and plan for the future. In this report, we share the major outcomes of the meeting, as well as a vision for the future. Our shared aspiration to improve learning outcomes – with a strong commitment to measurement, iteration for improvement, and sharing best practices – is a testament to the commitment for change so many across India wish to see for our children and the future.
