Susan Dell is co-founder and chairman of the board of the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Established with her husband Michael in 1999, the foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families living in urban poverty.
Over the years, the foundation has committed $1.3 billion to non-profits and social enterprises focused on creating change and improving lives in the United States, India and South Africa.
A mother of four, Susan is also an elite athlete who has competed in marathons, triathlons, and cycling races. For more than a decade she has held the course records for women in several formidable Hawaii-based cycling races. A successful fashion entrepreneur, Susan founded three fashion labels including the highly-acclaimed luxury brand, Phi, in 2004.
Susan is a past member of the President’s Council for Physical Fitness and Sports, is a trustee of the Children’s Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas and a board member of the Cooper Institute in Dallas.
