Jim oversees the foundation’s technology function and strategy. Technology is a key strategic enabler in accomplishing the foundation’s global philanthropic goals. Jim’s role is to deliver an overall technology vision, with excellence in operations, application development and information architecture to serve both internal and external stakeholders. Prior to joining the foundation, Jim was working on driving innovation in the clinical research patient space, specifically around using mobile devices to engage with patients and to capture research data. Earlier, Jim managed a technology consulting start up and worked at Electronic Data Systems. He has an undergraduate degree from Imperial College in London, UK and a masters of business administration from Southampton University, UK.
