Medha and Michael & Susan Dell Foundation to Bring Career Services and Employability Education to Disadvantaged Youth Across India  
Medha announced a new collaboration with the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation to scale its Career Service Centers (CSC) and Employability Education Program to 1,500 students across Northern India. With grant funding and technical support from the Dell family foundation, Medha will open up CSCs in 50 educational institutions across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the next two years.
Michael & Susan Dell Foundation Funds Landmark State-wide School Quality Improvement Program
The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation is partnering with the Department of School Education, Government of Haryana to to support Haryana’s landmark state-wide school Quality Improvement Programme (QIP). By signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), both parties affirmed their commitment to make Haryana a leading State in quality education for its students. The QIP will impact 1.6 million children in grades 1 to 8 of approximately 12,000 government primary and middle schools across Haryana.
Announcing the 2014 Class of Dell Scholars
The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation today announced its 11th class of Dell Scholars, providing 300 students with the chance to obtain a college degree. The program offers resources and mentoring, in addition to financial assistance, to ensure low-income, at-risk students have the comprehensive support needed to successfully earn a bachelor’s degree.
