Elsa Cole
General Counsel
Elsa Cole, general counsel, leads the foundation’s legal team. She joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in 2011 after 13 years as the vice president of legal affairs and general counsel at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Prior to that, she was general counsel for the University of Michigan and an assistant attorney general for the University of Washington. She holds a juris doctorate from Boston University School of Law and a bachelor of arts from Stanford University.

Lorenzo Tellez
Chief Financial Officer
Lorenzo oversees finance and operations at the foundation. Before joining the foundation in 2009, he was an executive at Dell Inc., where he held several senior financial and corporate planning positions for U.S. and global business units. Prior to Dell, he was chief financial officer and treasurer of Telos Corporation, a Virginia-based global technology solutions company, and an auditor for Arthur Andersen. A certified public accountant, Lorenzo holds a master of business administration and bachelor of arts in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Megan Matthews
Director, Communications
Megan leads the communications functions at the foundation and works closely with the founders, the leadership team and the program teams to support, complement and advance the foundation’s strategies and initiatives. Prior to joining the foundation in 2007, she worked in the technology industry for 15 years, where she most recently held several senior leadership roles in global marketing and global communications at Nokia Corp. She also held other senior communications leadership roles at Nokia in the Americas, and Europe/Middle East and Africa. She holds a bachelor of commerce in corporate finance and marketing from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
Lora Zarbock
Director, Technology
Lora leads the foundation's global technology team, which is responsible for the foundation’s enterprise systems as well as the design, development and operations of the software tools and processes that support grantmaking and scholarship programs. Before joining the foundation, Lora served as a senior manager for Dell Inc., managing the development and operations teams responsible for dell.com and the Dell online store. She has also worked at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and as an independent technology consultant. Lora has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and a master of science in engineering/operations research, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
TyAnn Osborn
Director, Human Resources
TyAnn leads the human resources (HR) function that includes all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Her focus is on enabling the foundation’s mission through the application of the most effective employees possible. She joined the foundation in 2007 after eight years with Dell Inc., where she held several senior leadership roles in HR in the U.S. and Asia, with a focus on talent acquisition and development. Ty also worked as a technical training manager at a division of PepsiCo, and as a consultant at CSC Consulting. Ty has a bachelor of business administration in economics from Baylor University and a master of business administration from St. Edward’s University.
