Janet Mountain - Executive Director
Janet Mountain has served as the Executive Director since January 2003. Prior to joining the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Janet was a Vice President at Dell Inc. and most recently the General Manager of the US Consumer Division. Janet has an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in International Business.

Lory Pilchik - Portfolio Director, US Education
Lory Pilchik joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation team in February 2005. Prior to that, Lory was a Director with Dell Inc. leading Marketing organizations including Brand Management, Communications, and Pricing. Her past experience includes Business-to-Business Sales with both Dell and IBM. Lory has a MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania. |

Caitlin Baron - Portfolio Director, Microfinance
Caitlin Baron joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation team in April 2005. Previously, Caitlin was the Manager of Strategy Services at Women's World Banking, a global microfinance non-profit based in New York. She also worked as a strategy consultant with Monitor Company in Boston. Caitlin studied Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. |

Barun Mohanty - Country Head, India
Barun Mohanty joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation team in April 2005. He has 15 years experience with McKinsey & Company in Canada, the Netherlands, India and Portugal, where he was a Partner, as well as leading Techna Iberia in Portugal. He earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, and his MBA from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. |

Zeynep Young - Portfolio Director, Texas
Zeynep Young joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in October 2005. Prior to that, Zeynep was an Associate Principal within the High Tech and Sales & Marketing Practice of McKinsey & Co. and Executive Director for Leadership Houston, a non-profit spin-off from the Houston Chamber of Commerce. Zeynep has a B.A. from Rice University and a master’s degree in management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. |

Kevin Byrne - Portfolio Director, Dell Scholars
Kevin Byrne came to the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in February 2004 from his position as Director of Program Services and Development with the Horatio Alger Association. Prior to that, he worked with the Center for International Security and Strategic Studies. Kevin has a BBA in Finance from Mississippi State University and an MBS in Strategy as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar from University College Cork in Cork, Ireland.

Megan Matthews - Director, Communications
Megan Matthews joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in May 2007 after 14 years with Nokia Corp. Megan held leadership roles in global marketing and global communications for Nokia’s enterprise solutions business group and held other senior communications positions in the Americas and Europe/Middle East and Africa. Before that, she was a public relations consultant for fashion and non-profit organizations in Canada. She holds bachelor degrees in corporate finance and marketing from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. |

Michelle Meyer Turner - Director, Legal
Michelle Turner joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in September 2003. Previously, Michelle was a Director, Assistant General Counsel for Dell Inc. leading legal groups for its various multi-billion dollar business entities. Her past experience also includes work in the education and technology industries, and legal practice in several large private law firms. Michelle graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BS in Mathematics and Economics and received her JD from The George Washington University School of Law. |

Chris Mitchell - Director, Operations
Chris Mitchell joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in November 2007 after fourteen years with Dell Inc. Most recently, Chris was the Financial Controller of Dell.com. His prior Dell experience included leadership roles in finance, marketing, and business operations. Prior to Dell, Chris spent five years in public accounting. Chris is a CPA and graduated from Texas State University with a BBA in Accounting. |

TyAnn Robinson - Director, Human Resources
TyAnn Robinson joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in August 2007 after eight years with Dell Inc. Ty was a Regional HR Director in Dell’s China Design Center, located in Shanghai. Other Dell HR experiences include Learning & Development manager, HR Generalist, and an HR Manager role in Bangalore, India. Prior to Dell, Ty worked as a technical training manager at a division of PepsiCo, and consultant at CSC Consulting. Ty has a BBA in Economics from Baylor University and MBA from St. Edward’s University. |

Lora Zarbock - Director, Technology
Lora Zarbock joined the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in October 2003. Before that, Lora worked as a Senior Manager for Dell Inc. managing the development and operations teams responsible for dell.com and Dell's Online Store. She has also worked at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and as an independent technology consultant. Lora has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Engineering/Operations Research, both from the University of Texas at Austin. |
